CATEMPO
Catempo provides contemporary lifestyle products for the modern cat and home. Founding Purresident, Candace Wong of architecture firm cwA+D, LLC, found that there was a need for feline goods that would seamlessly fit into the architecture she was designing, thus Catempo was born.
Philosophy
As a lifestyle brand, our mission is to rethink, revise, and refresh everyday cat products with thoughtful design and detail, and deliver the highest quality goods to the Catempo customers.
At Catempo, we love our cats AND our homes; These are the two founding principles of which our company and brand were built upon, and we strive to honor both in every product that we offer. We also strive to carry products with natural, sustainable, and eco-friendly materials and manufacture and source as much as we can locally. We love Austin, we love small businesses, and we love our planet.

10% of all proceeds are donated to Austin Pets Alive! We will send them a check every month, and will excitedly update everyone on how much we raise at the end of each year. Obviously, we love cats and Austin Pets Alive does too, so it was important to us to share with all of our furrriends. Billie Pawliday
Billie Pawliday of High Silver Maine Coon, named after the remarkable Billie Holiday, is the resident diva, style guru, and formalist. When Billie isn't snacking, she's busy making sure that all Catempo products are up to her design standards and have that je ne sais quoi. If the product doesn't look good next to her, then the Catempo brand isn't interested.
Luther Vanpaws
Luther Vanpaws, named after the late and great Luther Vandross, is head of all things lickable, pawable, and snuggable. Luther hails from the sunny South Central LA and brings his laid-back and chill attitude to the office everyday. Luther is always hard at work (between naps of course) making sure Catempo products perform as beautifully as they look. Some may say he's the office form follows function'er; Every office has to have one.
Candace Wong, AIA
Candace Wong, Principal of cwA+D, LLC, is Catempo's in-house Architect and support staff. She does everything Luther and Billie can't (or refuse to) do and makes sure everyone has plenty of snacks, meals, and high-fives.
